Native of eastern Long Island, I’ve always needed to live near the water. The beauty and calming effects are paramount to my sanity.  So I guess it’s no wonder I ended up on another island, Vieques, Puerto Rico.

Primarily a landscape painter I am always in awe of nature.  The greens, the blues and the splotches of reds and yellows keep our eyes moving and our hearts racing.  There’s a musical rhythm to a good composition.  The challenge is aways, to do nature justice with my paint and brush

Borinquen is a barrio on my island and I often paint the hills from my good friends porch.  The challenge as always was to create nature’s rhythm and paint her natural beauty.
